Rebels vs. Titans Overview
The Rebels will play their only game of the weekend on Saturday night as the team travels to Middletown’s Ice World to play the New Jersey Titans. This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams this season with the Rebels winning five of the seven games and outscoring the Titans 22 – 10, which includes three shutouts (two by Mareks Mitens and one by Jack Leavy). The last time the teams played each other was back on January 11 when the Rebels won 2 – 0.
Dom Garcia (3 goals and 4 assists), Gvido Jansons (2 goals and 5 assists) and Brennan Kapcheck (4 goals and 3 assists) each have seven points against the Titans. Kapcheck has scored the most goals with four. The Rebels are 5 for 33 (15%) on the power play. Mitens has played in four of the seven games between the pipes and has a 1.25 goals against average and a .946 save percentage. Mitens and Leavy has a combined 1.57 goals against average and .935 save percentage against the Titans.
