The North American Hockey League announced today its monthly player awards for the month of December. Rebels goaltender Ryan Keane, defenseman Dusan Kmec and forward Aaron Maguyon were selected as honorable mention for their respective position. This is the second straight month these three players have been named honorable mention for their position.
Keane had a 3 – 2 record in December including a 2.20 goals against average and a .881 save percentage. On the season he has a 12 – 5 record with a 1.85 goals against average and a .921 save percentage with one shutout.
Kmec had six points (3 goals and 3 assists) in five games, including the game winning overtime goal on December 1 against the Northeast Generals. Kmec has sixteen points on the season (3 goals and 13 assists) which is the highest among all Rebel defensemen.
Maguyon had eight points (2 goals and 6 assists) in seven games. Maguyon currently leads the team in total points with 23 (9 goals and 14 assists).
