The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that the team has signed Edina Hornets’ forward Lewis Crosby to a tender for the 2018-19 season.
Lewis, 18, had 44 points (19 goals and 25 assists) in 29 games for the Hornets last season, who play in the Minnesota High School Hockey League. The 5’10”, 180 lb. native of Edina, Minnesota is a left-handed shot.
“I am very excited to join the great organization of the Philadelphia Rebels” stated Crosby. “I also can’t wait to come down after the high school season in March” said Crosby.
“Lewis is a hard-working two-way forward” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “Cros will contribute both the offensive and defensive sides of the ice” concluded Pugliese.
The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that the team has tendered White Bear Lake High School forward Chase Hamstad for the 2018-19 season.
Hamstad, 18, has 48 points (19 goals and 29 assists) in 29 games for White Bear who play in the Minnesota High School Hockey League. Hamstad also plays for the Minnesota Blades. The 6’3”, 185 lbs. native of Hugo, MN is a left-handed shot.
“I’m ecstatic to start the next level of hockey on the East Coast” stated Hamstad. “I’m looking forward to playing for a very successful organization such as the Rebels” concluded Hamstad.
“Chase is a power-forward with great skill and hockey sense” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “We’ll look for Chase to make an immediate impact” concluded Pugliese.
The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of defenseman Diarmad DiMurro of The Gunnery School to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Highland Mills, NY native, 18, had 24 points in 32 games for the New England Prep School League team. The 5’10”, 165 lb. defenseman is a right-handed shot. He is a Division 1 NCAA commit to Dartmouth College.
“I am extremely honored to have been tendered by such an amazing organization” stated DiMurro. “They have proven themselves to be one of the most premier teams in the league while only being in it for two seasons. I look forward to working with the coaching staff, and I am excited to be an impact in any way possible with the club” concluded DiMurro.

His work ethic, offensive instincts, and ability to skate and make plays are all tremendous assets that will help our team and D-Core. The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of Honeybaked forward Valentino Passarelli to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Spanish Fort, AL native, 17, played 54 games this year for the Honeybaked 16U team, who play in the High-Performance Hockey League. He had 45 points on the season. The 5’8”, 170 lb. forward is a right-handed shot. He is a Division 1 NCAA commitment to Miami University of Ohio.

The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of Culver Academies’ defenseman Bryant Gunn to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Carmel, IN native, 18, played 36 games this year for Culver’s 18U prep team, who play in the Independent/Prep AAA League. He had 20 points on the season (6 goals and 14 assists). The 5’11”, 185 lb. left-handed shot defenseman had a +25 plus/minus ratio.
“I feel very honored and blessed to be tendered by such a great organization and team” stated Gunn. “I am super excited to be a part of the Aston Rebels. I look forwarding to working hard and contributing to something special in Aston” concluded Gunn.
“Bryant is a highly intelligent left shot puck moving defenseman” stated Rebels head coach Joe Coombs. “We expect him to log a lot of minutes against the other teams’ top players” concluded Coombs.
The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of Culver Academies’ defenseman Collin Heinold to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Charleston, SC native, 18, played 36 games this year for Culver’s 18U prep team, who play in the Independent/Prep AAA League. He had 12 points on the season (9 goals and 3 assists). The 6’1”, 201 lb. defenseman had a +12 plus/minus ratio. The right-handed shot blueliner is known for his bomb of a slapshot.
