Jamestown, New York – We are pleased to announce that we have used our sixth and final tender of the season on defenseman Tristan Culleton, effective 2019-2020. Culleton is 19-years-old and is a native of St. Louis, MO.
Over the past two seasons, Tristan has played for the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL), totaling 95 games played and 23 points. Prior to that he spent two seasons playing for the Iowa Wild AAA 16U team and one season with their 18U team. In 2017-18 Tristan won the MJHL Championship while with the Pitons, scoring a goal and helping on another during his 12 games in the post-season. In 2017 he was drafted #132 overall by the Southern Tier Express of the NA3HL and then in 2018 he was picked #169 overall by the Maryland Black Bears. While he did not play a game for either team, Culleton will be playing at the arena that the Southern Tier Express used to call home.
The 6’1”, 185lb left-handed shooter had this to say about his tender signing with the Rebels, “I’m super excited to join the Rebels. I can’t wait to meet all of the guys and coaches and to learn from all of them.” Culleton went on to add, “I’m excited to see what I can bring to the team and hopefully make a long run next season.”

Jamestown, New York – We are pleased to announce that we have used our fifth Tender of the season on Forward Kyle Smolen, effective 2019-2020. Smolen is 16-years-old and is committed to Arizona State University.
Last season Kyle played in nine games for the Chicago Young Americans U16 (HPHL) picking up seven assists. Over the past two seasons Kyle has played for his local high school hockey team, District 155 (USHL-IL), combining for 24 games played (11g-9a). He is currently playing for the Chicago Mission U16 (HPHL). Already this season Kyle has played 20 games for them recording ten assists and totaling 15 points.
The 5’11”, 165lb right-handed shooter had this to say about his tender signing with the Rebels, “I am really excited to have the opportunity to partake in such an elite program that truly will develop me into an elite player.” Smolen went on to add, “I’m excited to start a new chapter with a new and great group of guys.”
Billy Pugliese, the Director of Scouting for the Rebels had this to say about the future Rebel player, “Kyle is a young player with good hockey IQ. He goes to high traffic areas and does many of the little things we expect from our players.” Billy also stated, “I’m looking forward to seeing his development.” We look forward to seeing Kyle dawn the red, white, and blue next season!
Jamestown, New York – We are pleased to announce that we have used our fourth Tender of the season on Forward Mason Kruse, effective 2019-2020. Kruse will be turning 18 this coming March.
Mason has spent the past three seasons playing for his local high school team, Brainerd High (USHS-MN), accumulating 74 games played (32g-44a). He has also played for the Great Plains (UMHSEHL) for the past two seasons, totaling 29 games played (7g-12a). Next season will be Mason’s first year in junior hockey.
The 6’1”, 181lb right-handed shooter had this to say about becoming a tender with the Rebels, “I chose to tender with Jamestown over other teams and leagues because I think and believe it is the best decision for my development based on what I have heard about the team and their success”. Mason added on to it by saying “I like the culture that the coaches and staff give off. Joe Coombs is a very personable and approachable person that cares about his players. I really look forward to playing in the NAHL, doing what I can to help the team, and opening up a new chapter of development as a player”.
Billy Pugliese, the Director of Scouting for the Rebels spoke very highly of the Brainerd, MN native by stating, “Mason will add skill, size, and speed to our right side. We are expecting him to be an impact player”. We are all extremely excited to see what Mason has to offer next season.
Jamestown, New York – We are pleased to announce that we have used our third Tender of the season on Defenseman Ian Carpenter, effective 2019-2020.
Born and raised in Mount Prospect, IL, Ian has been playing for Team Illinois U15-U18 for the past three seasons, totaling 55 games played and recording nine points. The 17-year-old will be moving to the Empire State next season. This will be the first season Ian will be playing away from his home state.
The 5’10” 160lb left-handed shooter had this to say about becoming a Rebel next season, “I am excited to be a part of such of a great organization. And am looking forward to playing for Jamestown next year”.
Billy Pugliese, the Director of Scouting for the Rebels had this to say about the young defenseman. “Ian was impressive at our camp this past summer. He is a smart puck moving defenseman”. Just like Ian, we too are looking forward to seeing him play next season.
Jamestown, New York – We are pleased to announce that we have used our second Tender of the season on Forward Josh Adimey, effective 2019-2020. Adimey will be coming back to his home state next season to be a Rebel.
Josh, who will be 18 in less than a month has played one game in the NAHL already, that was last season with the Springfield Jr. Blues. He is currently playing for the Honeybaked U18 team located in Detroit, MI where he has recorded seven points in ten games (5A).
The 6’2”, 215lb left-handed shooter had this to say about becoming a Tender for the Rebels. “I am excited to play in the NAHL next year and really look forward to playing with a great group of guys and for a great coaching staff”. Adimey also stated this about playing in his home state, “I think it will be cool to play close to home because my family and friends can come watch me play. Also, it’s great to have such a good organization close to home”.

The Jamestown Rebels are pleased to announce that they have used their first Tender of the season on forward Zach Brydges. The Woodbury, MN native is now Tendered with the Rebels for the 2019-2020 season.
Brydges, who will be 18 in just five days, spent last season playing for Cretin-Derham Hall where he played 25 games totaling for 21 points (11 goals and 10 assists). He will finish out his high-school career with them before bringing his talent to New York.
The 5’10”, 165lb right-handed shooter had this to say about being a Tender for the Rebels. “I am extremely excited to continue my hockey career with the Jamestown Rebels and feel really positive about this opportunity”. Brydges also had this to say when asked about looking to play next year, “I am anxious and eager to see what the future has to hold”.

The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that the team has tendered Kirkland Lake Goldminers defenseman John Serafin for the 2018-19 season.
Serafin,18, had 14 points (2 goals and 14 assists) in forty-eight games for the Goldminers who play in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL). The 6’5”, 207 lb. native of St. Louis, MO is a right-handed shot.
“I’m excited to be tendered by a successful team such as the Rebels” stated Serafin. “They have an excellent record of moving players onto the next level. It’s what attracted me to them” concluded Serafin.
“John brings size to our defensive group” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “I think he can develop into a very difficult player for opponents to play against” said Pugliese.
The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that Omaha AAA 18U defenseman Aaron Bohlinger was tendered for the 2018-19 season.
Bohlinger, 17, had fifty-five points (12 goals and 43 assists) in 54 games this year. The 5’9”, 180 lb. native of Walden, NY is a right-handed shot. Bohlinger did play one game for the Rebels this season back on December 16.
“I am excited for the opportunity to play at such a great organization, and grateful for the people that helped me get here” stated Bohlinger. “My ultimate goal is to play Division I college hockey and Philadelphia is a great place for me to work to accomplish that goal” concluded Bohlinger.
“Aaron is a born leader” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “He is a very calm defender who makes good decisions” added Pugliese.
The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that Benilde-St. Margarets’ defenseman Nathan Clark was tendered for the 2018-19 season.
Clark, 17, had five points (all assists) in 26 high school games last year. Benilde-St. Margarets is located in St. Louis Park, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. He also plays for the Minnesota Blades. He currently has 14 points (6 goals and 8 assists) in 25 games this season with them. The 5’11”, 170 lb. native of Plymouth, MN is a right-handed shot.
“I’m excited to join the Rebels next year after leading my high school team to a successful season” stated Clark. “I look forward to working with the Rebel coaching staff to develop my game and contribute to a winning team” concluded Clark
“Nate is a good skating, skilled puck moving d-man” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “He defends very, very well” added Pugliese.
The Philadelphia Rebels have announced today that the team has tendered Elite Hockey Program’s forward Jin Lee for the 2018-19 season.
Lee, 16, has 35 points (21 goals and 14 assists) in 38 games so far for EHP, who are proud members of the North American Prospect Hockey League. The 6’, 175 lb native of Allendale, NJ is a left-handed shot.
“It’s an awesome opportunity” stated Lee. “I am very lucky to be tendered by such a well-respected organization, and I’m really excited for what’s to come” concluded Lee.
“Jin is an elite skater with a great upside” stated Rebels Director of Scouting Billy Pugliese. “He is a very intelligent young man and we look forward to seeing him develop into a complete player” said Pugliese.
