Shutout Streak Earns Krbecek 1st Star of the Week

SEWELL, NJ – Philadelphia Rebels goaltender Jakub Krbecek has been named the NAHL East Division Star of the Week after a perfect week between the pipes for the Rebels.

In three contests, Krbecek stopped all 96 shots he faced on his way to three shutout victories. After recording his first career NAHL shutout on Feb. 24 at Maryland, Krbecek now has four shutouts in his last five games.

“Jakub had an impressive week. He has been a rock for us all season and managed to find a whole new level of performance,” said Rebels head coach Justin Hale.
