Rebels Look for Split Tonight in Maryland

ODENTON, MD – The Philadelphia Rebels (4-11-0-1, 9 pts) look for the split against the Maryland Black Bears (17-3-0-0, 34 pts) in Saturday night’s series finale.

On Friday night, Philadelphia fell 3-0 as Maryland scored a short-handed goal and two power-play goals.

Goaltender Jakub Krbecek made a career-high 44 saves, but the Rebels were unable to convert on seven power play chances in the game. Saturday’s game will wrap up the series as Philadelphia looks for its first win against the Black Bears this season. Maryland has taken all of the first three contests.

Forward Maxwell Hamstad was held off the scoresheet on Friday, but had five points in three games prior to the series. Philadelphia will look for Hamstad to continue his hot stretch in Saturday’s game.

Saturday’s puck drop is at 7:30 and can be seen on HockeyTV.
