Rebels Look for Road Sweep in Danbury

DANBURY, CT – The Philadelphia Rebels (5-13-0-1, 11 pts) look to complete a road-sweep against the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (2-18-1-1, 6 pts) on Saturday night.

In the series-opener, Philadelphia maintained pressure throughout, launching 38 shots on net, but the game went to overtime tied at one.

Jakub Krbecek stood strong all night, making 23 of 24 saves as the Rebels snapped a five-game skid with Connor Sedlak’s overtime-winner.

Philadelphia returns to action on Saturday night, looking for the sweep against the Hat Tricks. If the Rebels are able to come away with a victory, it would be the first time this season they won consecutive games.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. from Danbury Arena in Connecticut and the game can be seen on HockeyTV.
