Rebels Host Jr. Hat Tricks on Saturday Night

SEWELL, NJ – On Saturday night, the Philadelphia Rebels (21-23-1-1, 42 pts) will close out their two-game weekend series with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (2-40-5-2, 11 pts).

Last night, the Rebels took the victory at home by a score of 4-0. Philadelphia took control of the game in the second period with goals from Connor Sedlak and Greg Spitznagel. The Rebels iced the game in the third with Carter Casper’s 4th of the year and Spitznagel’s second of the night.

The Rebels will continue to look to take advantage of a Danbury team that allows 4.2 goals per game, among the highest in the NAHL. Coming into Saturday, Philadelphia is 7-0 against Danbury and has outscored the Jr. Hat Tricks by a total of 28-10.

Playing sound defensively in front of Jakub Krbecek is another must for Philadelphia. As the Rebels’ continue their push for the postseason, the Czech netminder has been nothing short of stellar. On Friday night night, he made 24 saves in the shutout to record his third in his last four games.

Head Coach Justin Hale’s squad will go for the sweep on Saturday with the opening faceoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for all fans and the game will be available to stream on HockeyTV.
