The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending October 15 and Rebels goaltender Ryan Keane was selected as the East Division’s second star of the week and forward Brandon Stanley was named honorable mention.
Keane was between the pipes for both Rebels games against the Johnstown Tomahawks this past weekend. He compiled a .977 save percentage and a .50 goal against average, which included his first shutout on the season. The Coppell, TX native is ranked second amount all NAHL goaltenders in goals against average with a .80 as well as save percentage with .964.
Stanley recorded his first three goals on the season during this weekend’s sweep of the Tomahawks. He scored his first goal in Saturday night’s 4 – 0 victory and then scored the team’s fourth and fifth goals in their 5 – 1 win on Sunday.
