The North American Hockey League has announced its divisional players of the week and Rebels forwards Michael Merulla and Evgeny Yakovlev were named honorable mentioned for week ending February 28, 2016.
Merulla had three points this past weekend against Johnstown. He had one goal and two assists. This is the eighth time Merulla has received recognition from the league.
Yakovlev, (6’-3/215) forward from Russia, has 21 points on the season. It is the first time this year he has received league recognition.
