The North American Hockey League announced today its monthly player awards for the month of November. Rebels forward Aaron Maguyon, defenseman Dusan Kmec and goaltender Ryan Keane were selected as honorable mention for their respective position.
Maguyon had five points (2 goals and 3 assists) in eight games. To date, the Egg Harbor Twp., NJ native leads the team in total points with 20 (9 goals and 11 assists). He was named honorable mention for the East Division for week ending November 19 and second star of the week for week ending November 5.
Kmec, who was brought over in a trade with the Aberdeen Wings halfway through November, had three points (all assists) in seven games. He is currently third on the team for points by a defenseman with six (2 goals and 4 assists).
Keane, who was the league’s goalie of the month for October, went 3 – 2 in the month posting a 2.40 goal against average and a .908 save percentage. He has a 1.74 goal against average and .927 save percentage and one shutout on the season.
