Rebels defense man Gvido Jansons’ blast from the point with 4:40 left in the third period game the visitors a 5 – 4 victory over the New Jersey Titans. The Rebels won both their preseason games against New Jersey this weekend.
In a spirited game, the Rebels received goals from Jensen Zerban, Andrew Bellant (2 goals and an assist), Dom Garcia and Jansons. Bellant had four goals on the weekend.
The team now begins preparations to start the season on the road against the Northeast Generals on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17. These will be the first two meetings between the two teams, with the Generals being new to the division and league.
