The Rebels are searching for qualified interns for the following positions. More positions may be added at a later time, so continue to check this page for updates.

All internship positions will run from early September through the end of the season (April/May).
Sales/Ticketing Internship
The Rebels Sales and Ticketing Internship will give a college student hands-on experience on the business side of a sports organization. A Sales/Ticketing intern will assist in making calls to businesses, ensuring all parts of sponsorship agreements are met, reaching out to groups/individuals to sell tickets and checking tickets for fans on game days. Sales/Ticket Interns will be expected to work all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena. *
*Sales/Ticket internships are available for Summer 2023 as well.
Social Media Internship
The Rebels Social Media Internship includes mostly gamedays, but may require limited work outside of the Rebels game schedule. Social Media interns will keep social media active during Rebels games by live Tweeting, posting stories and videos, updating graphics, clipping highlights and more. A Social Media Intern should have a working knowledge of hockey, be up-to-date on current social media trends and be familiar with typical posts for a sports team. Interns will rotate through various social media responsibilities throughout the season to get a well-rounded experience. Multiple positions are available. Social Media Interns will be expected to work all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena and to assist remotely with select road games as well.
Video Production Internship
The Rebels Video Production Internship will include Producing live Rebels broadcasts on HockeyTV, Camera Operating and recording and editing videos to be used on Rebels social media. The Broadcast Producer will control the video components of the Rebels broadcast as well as maintain good audio levels. Camera Operators will shoot Rebels games for the broadcast feed. Video Production Interns will also be tasked with shooting non-broadcast footage of the game and putting together clips to be used for social media. Video Production Interns will be expected to work all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena and with select Philadelphia Hockey Club (EHL) games as well.
Media Relations Internship
The Rebels Media Relations Internship has a heavy emphasis on writing game previews and recaps for the team website/media list and occasionally updating game notes. A media relations intern will also be tasked with assisting any media members present at the game. Media Relations Interns will be expected to work all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena and to assist remotely with select road games as well.
Gameday Operations Internship
The Rebels Gameday Operations Internship includes the roles of Clock Operator, Statistician, Penalty Box Attendants and Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will coordinate the schedule of events before/during the game from team entrances to announcements and promotions. Gameday Operations interns will sit between the benches at ice level and complete these tasks. Gameday Operations interns are expected to be at all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena and to assist with Philadelphia Hockey Club (EHL) games as well.
Public Address Internship
The Rebels Public Address Intern will provide the Public Address of all Rebels home games to the crowd at Hollydell Ice Arena. Public Address duties will include pre-game, starting lineups, in-game, intermission and post-game announcements as well as playing music throughout the game. A Public Address Intern is expected to be at all 28 home games at Hollydell Ice Arena and to assist with Philadelphia Hockey Club (EHL) games as well.
