What is a Pre-Draft Camp?
Pre-Draft Camps provide an opportunity for the Rebels coaching staff to evaluate players that will make up the next crop of talent in the North American Hockey League. It is a chance for players to showcase their talents for our coaches prior to their decision to select a player in the NAHL Entry Draft, tender a player or offer an invitation to Main Camp later in the summer. Pre-Draft Camp is also an excellent opportunity for younger players to show our staff why they should consider them in future seasons.
Why should I participate in Pre-Draft Camp?
Pre-Draft Camp provides players with the undivided attention of our coaching staff. The staff will be able to evaluate and meet with players throughout the camp. It is one of the only chances throughout the year for a prospective Rebel to show our staff what they are made of.
Do players at Pre-Draft Camp make the team?
Players from Pre-Draft Camp are eligible to be drafted, tendered or invited to Main Camp. If a player earns either of those three outcomes from Pre-Draft Camp, they will be eligible to be selected for the Philadelphia Rebels 2023-24 Roster.
Which players participate in Pre-Draft Camp?
Players aged 16-20 are eligible to participate in Pre-Draft Camp. That is the age range of eligibility to play Junior Hockey.
Where and when is Pre-Draft Camp?
The Philadelphia Rebels 2023-24 Pre-Draft Camp will be held from June 9 – June 11, 2023 in Vernon Hills, Illinois at Glacier Ice Arena.
